In Japan, aviation fuel and labor costs are high, and the going rate for a training or sightseeing flight in a Cessna can range from 40,000 to 60,000 yen per hour.
I'm sure everyone has looked up at the sky at least once and thought, "I wish I could fly freely too."
Ariake Sky wants to enable anyone to enjoy air travel freely and easily, whenever they want.

*For all Ariake Sky plans, the briefing (lecture on how to fly and a meeting to decide your desired course) is included in the flight time. If you do not require a piloting lecture, it will take less than 5 minutes, and for first-timers, it will take about 15 minutes. Please be aware of this before selecting your flight time to ensure a fun and safe flight.

This is a trial course exclusively for first-time users of Ariake Sky. This is a plan for those who want to experience the training and work of an actual pilot, and fly far away from Tokyo to the Izu Islands, Shizuoka, Ibaraki, and other places.

There is no joining fee or annual fee. You can fly as much as you like, on any day you like.

This is an anything goes plan! With this much time, you can fly through most cross country skiing!
It is possible to go from Tokyo to Nagoya, Fukushima, Shinshu Matsumoto, etc. (As long as the headwinds are not too strong...lol)
We did two hours of cross-country flying, and then spent an hour just doing traffic patterns at our destination airport.
As a fan of the flash sim, use this time to hone your skills to your heart's content!

This is a plan that allows you to do anything! With this much time, you can fly most cross-country skiing! You can even go from Tokyo to Nagoya, Fukushima, and Matsumoto in Shinshu. (As long as the headwinds aren't too strong...lol) You 'll do two hours of cross-country skiing, and one hour of traffic patterns at your destination airport. As a fan of high-speed skiing, use this time to hone your skills to your heart's content!
Pilot/Trainee Plan

This plan is for professional pilots. It is for those who have a license equivalent to CPL or higher (fixed-wing only) from an ICAO member country, such as JCAB or FAA. The annual fee is set lower than normal to help you maintain your skills. Please feel free to use it to prepare for airline employment exams.
*After applying, you will need to submit your latest logbook and aviation qualification certificate at your first flight and at the annual renewal time.

Trainee Card

This plan is for private pilots, trainees, and test takers. It is for those who hold a PPL license (fixed-wing only) from an ICAO member country such as JCAB or FAA, those enrolled in a university pilot course and have completed classroom training, PPL, or IR courses, those who have passed the first or higher exam (within one year) at their own training center, the National Aviation University, or the Self-Defense Forces Aviation Students, and those who are air communicators, air radio operators, and special air radio operators.
*After applying, you will need to submit your latest logbook and one of the documents listed below at the time of your first flight and at the annual renewal time.

・Aviation worker proficiency certificate

I want to be a pilot in the future! Flying in the sky seems like fun...! This plan is recommended for university students, vocational school students, 4th and 5th year students at technical colleges, and graduate students who dream of the sky. If you have an aviation-related qualification, your Captain Card or Trainee Card will be given priority. Of course, even if you don't know much about airplanes or have no interest in them, you are welcome! (Any reason is OK, whether it's to create a topic of conversation at a club drinking party or to enjoy a date in the sky! lol) Why not try the pilot experience at Ariake Sky?
Mileage status is awarded in the same way as for regular members, so it is possible to aim for elite membership!
*When applying, you will need to present your student ID and an official form of identification that can verify your age (driver's license, passport, health insurance card, My Number card, etc.).
*This plan is only available to those under 30 years old.
*If you have graduated from school or otherwise left school at the time of your next renewal, you will automatically be transferred to a general membership.

High school student card

I want to be a pilot in the future! Flying in the sky seems like fun...! This plan is recommended for high school students and 1st to 3rd year students at technical colleges who dream of becoming a pilot. If you have an aviation-related qualification, your Captain Card or Trainee Card will be given priority. In Japan, you can get a pilot's license from the age of 17. Why not try flying with Ariake Sky and aim to become a pilot from an early age?
Mileage status is awarded in the same way as for regular members, so it is possible to aim for elite membership!
*You will need to present your student ID when applying.
*If you have graduated from school at the time of your next renewal, you will automatically be transferred to a general membership, or if you are continuing on to university, you will be transferred to a university student card.
*For high school students, parents are not allowed to operate the drone. If parents wish to operate the drone, they can apply for a general membership themselves and have their child take over during the parent's usage time.

Junior high school student card

I want to be a pilot in the future! Is there anywhere I can go on adventures after school? This plan is recommended for inquisitive junior high school students. If you start training in junior high school, you might be able to become a pilot at the youngest age allowed by law when you are in high school! Why not try flying with Ariake Sky and aim to become a pilot from an early age?
Mileage status is awarded in the same way as for regular members, so it is possible to aim for elite membership!
*When applying, you will need to present a student ID or an official form of identification that can verify your age (passport, health insurance card, My Number card, etc.).
*If you have graduated from school at the time of your next renewal, you will automatically be transferred to a general membership, or if you are going on to higher education, you will be transferred to a high school student card.
*For junior high school students, parents are not allowed to operate the drone. If parents wish to operate the drone, they can apply for a general membership themselves and have their child take over operation during the parent's usage time.

The dream of the future is to be a pilot! This plan is recommended for elementary school children who are full of dreams and will carry the skies of the future. In the United States, even elementary school children can experience flying a Cessna, but unfortunately, in Japan, this is not permitted. However, Ariake Sky's simulator allows you to fly legally in Japan. Why not nurture your child's future in a precise cockpit that is exactly the same as a real airplane?
Mileage status is awarded in the same way as for regular members, so it is possible to aim for elite membership!
*For the Kids Plan, parents are not allowed to operate the drone. If parents wish to operate the drone, they can apply for a general membership themselves and have their child take over operation during the parent's usage time.
*You will be required to present proof of age (a public form of identification such as a passport, health insurance card, or My Number card).
*If you have graduated from school at the time of your next renewal, your card will automatically be transferred to a junior high school student card.
